'Explore' Law Enforcement as a Riverside CHP Explorer |
The Riverside CHP Explorer Program is designed for young men and women who are between 15 and 20 years of age. Participants develop the skills and knowledge needed to serve the people of California through discipline and a commitment to serving their community.
In addition to regular meetings, Explorers learn different aspects of how the Department functions by assisting clerical and administrative staff inside the office and at official Departmental events. After demonstrating sufficient knowledge, Explorers participate in ride-alongs with experienced officers in the field. |
